Paik Koh

Paik grew up in Malaysia's capital, Kuala Lumpur, before coming to Scotland to study at the University of Edinburgh's Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Medicine, from where she qualified in 2003. 

She spent 16 years in general practice, seeing a wide variety of large, and latterly, companion and exotic animal cases in Scotland and the north of England. 

In 2013, Paik was shortlisted as a finalist in the PetPlan Vet of the Year Awards. In 2016 she obtained a Pg Cert in Small Animal Surgery, and expanded her repertoire of advanced surgeries. 

Paik joined DentalVets in December 2019 and is currently working towards a Pg Cert in Dentistry and Oral Surgery.

Her hobbies include sourdough bread-making, yoga, and sailing. She is the proud owner of a slightly crazy, grumpy-looking but very loveable cat called Sushi.
