Norman Johnston
Norman Johnston qualified from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh, UK in 1976. He is clinical director of DentalVets.
His veterinary dental credentials as a specialist are unique in Europe as he is a diplomate of both the American and European Veterinary Dental Colleges and a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry. He is also an RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Dentistry.
He also holds an honorary lectureship in the Veterinary Faculty of Glasgow University Veterinary School and is an Honorary Fellow (Dentistry) of the University of Edinburgh.
He is the immediate past president of the European Veterinary Dental College and also served two terms as president of the British Veterinary Dental Association from 1991 to 1995.
He is a past board member of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry and iserved as a director (2003 - 2009) and chairman (2007-2009) of VETTrust - a veterinary charity dedicated to providing help with continuing resources education resources to needy individuals.
In 1997 he received the Simon Award from the British Small Animal Veterinary Association for outstanding contributions in the field of veterinary surgery.

Fiona Johnston
Fiona Johnston graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School in July 1991. She spent seventeen years in small animal practice and is a director of DentalVets with particular responsibility for the administration and smooth running of our dental CPD courses.
Her special interests in general practice, in addition to dentistry, are cardiology, radiology and feline medicine. Since 1996 she has taught numerous veterinary dental and veterinary undergraduate courses in the UK and Europe and is a key member of our teaching team..
Claire Donnelly BSc (Hons.) VN

Claire graduated from Napier University, Edinburgh in 2005 and has both trained and worked in a number of veterinary practices in East Lothian and Edinburgh. She moved to the new challenge of a referral practice in 2007.
She is a native of East Lothian, having been educated at Knox Academy before applying for graduate veterinary nurse training.
She is currently undertaking further education and credentials in veterinary dentistry nursing in the USA under the auspices of the American Academy of Veterinary Dental Technicians . Once her trainiong and examinations are concluded she will be uniquely qualified within the speciality with the only award recognised by a national regulatory body - another UK first for DentalVets.
Kathleen McLeod

Kathleen joined DentalVets in 2007 and provides reception and secretarial skills to our organisation. She is also the front-of house contact clients see and hear on the phone and in person. She is the font of all knowledge locally and can provide information on what to do in North Berwick for the day or will help in booking a pet-friendly B&B or hotel.
